Domestic Data Streamers
Sound design for an inmersive installation
Countdown for Change
Countdown for Change is a collaborative project by Domestic Data Streamers for UNICEF, designed to emphasize the vital role of vaccines in saving lives.
The installation premiered at the World Health Assembly in Geneva and has since traveled to conventions worldwide, including Brazil and Nigeria.
It featured twelve screens arranged to form a clock, creating a 360º immersive experience. At the center of the installation, an interactive point invited participants to make a pledge for change at a certain moment in the experience.
The sound design played a critical role in crafting a compelling narrative aimed at encouraging policymakers globally to rethink their efforts in advancing world immunization.Central to the narrative was a voiceover that delivered a data-driven story, supported by a sound design that heighten the emotional impact. Mixed in Dolby Atmos, the soundscape guided listeners across the screens, creating an immersive and engaging auditory experience that reinforced the project’s message.
