Ideation and design of an audioguide
A street intervention that recreated an apartment in l'Hospitalet, to highlight the challenges faced by elderly individuals living alone. The installation featured furniture marked with data about seniors' lifestyles, accompanied by an audio guide sharing personal experiences, aiming to foster community support and awareness.
The audioguide was a narration from Maria, an elder neigbour of the city. Apart from the narration, there was a Dolby Atmos mixed soundscape that guided the user throught the aparment. Anticipating the user’s position throught the visual support, the way Maria went was responsive to where the user would hear her, and when she did an action, the sound responded, being placed accordingly into the space.
